Chernomorets and CPS Varna won the qualification tournaments

The teams of Chernomorets and CPS Varna won the qualification tournaments, respectively in Burgas and Sofia, in the launched championship for men U19. Thus, both teams qualified for the Superfinals of the championship.

In the capital at the Diana pool, the age group champions from CPS Varna - gold medal winners in the last three years - had no problems, achieving five wins from five matches. However, in the Park Arena OZK pool, three teams had a chance for the first place until the last. In the final match, Chernomorets prevailed over Cherno More 7-6. Before that, the Burgas players had tied (12-12) with Botev 2000, and Cherno More had beaten the Vratsians 8-7. Otherwise, all three teams had no problems against Neptun and Arena Burgas.

The regulations provide for 8 teams to play in the next phase - the second to fifth place finishers in both groups. Each will meet only the opponents it did not play in the qualification, from which the asset will be counted only against the teams that reached the second phase.
