Mission

The Mission at The team of "KVT Cherno More Ticha" is to promote water polo on a national level. With our new approach to the preparation of athletes, we are laying the foundations for future success in Bulgaria, developing young talents on the road to success. Under the guidance of a highly qualified coach, we strive every year to compete for the Bulgarian championship title in all age groups, as well as to achieve significant results on the European stage in the LEN Challenger Cup tournament. This will put our team on the European map and inspire thousands of Bulgarians to join the sport. It is also our desire to develop young and passionate coaches to learn and progress, applying the methods of one of the most successful nations in our sport.

Vision

Within 5 years the club will have become a perfectly functioning organization where children are developed by the best professionals, learning water polo and sports qualities such as speed, strength, endurance, patience, teamwork and emotional stability. They will also acquire values such as respect for human dignity, non-discrimination, tolerance, justice, solidarity and care for the environment. Together we can be champions in and out of the water!

History

KVT Cherno More Ticha 1948 is one of the oldest water polo clubs in Bulgaria. The club holds numerous awards in different age groups, and is a multiple champion of Bulgaria in men.

The beginning was set in 1948 and the founder of water polo in Varna is the deserved coach Velichko Dyulgerov. The first participation of the Varna team in the men's national championship was in 1953.
